Join Our 8-Week Social Skills Group for Middle Schoolers

This 8-week group offers a safe, supportive space for middle schoolers to grow social confidence, explore new communication tools, and strengthen peer relationships – without pressure to mask or “fit in.”

In this group, we will be identifying participant's social strengths and using those strengths to navigate more difficult social moments by building up participants 'toolboxes' with evidence-based social skills that they can use to develop and strengthen their relationships.

Led by Social Skills Expert Dr. Alexa Prodromakis

Dr. Alexa Prodromakis is a licensed psychologist and Coast Psychology’s resident social skills expert. As your child’s group leader, Dr. Prodromakis will support your child in exploring their strengths and making connections with others in a fun, neuroaffirming, and nonjudgmental space.

Our group will help your child:

  • Identify personal social strengths

  • Learn evidence-based strategies for peer interactions

  • Navigate group dynamics & conflict

  • Practice setting boundaries & expressing needs

  • Make meaningful connections in an affirming space

“What are the skills, features, tendencies, passions they are bringing to the table, and how can we use those to make this social world they seem to want to access? How can we make it accessible and rewarding?”
— Scott Barry Kaufman
